Two Brothers, One Journey: A Spiritual Passage on the Appalachian Trail

At 72 and 71 years old, brothers Rand and Ron Timmerman embarked on an incredible journey to hike the Appalachian Trail, each carrying his own burdens. For Ron, it was the grief of losing his wife, Edie, just months before. For Rand, it was the ongoing battle with his past and his path to sobriety. Together, they faced trials, celebrated triumphs, and found healing in unexpected places.

This video, filmed at the House of the Good Shepherd church in Knoxville, Tennessee, features Rand reflecting on their challenges, sharing moments of beauty and humor from the trail, and offering a message of resilience, faith, and brotherhood.
